Wedding Photographer
Hey there! Thanks so much for being here. My name is Sydney; I’m the face behind Syrosie Photos (sigh-rosie). I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years, and I’ve taken a photography course or two over the years, from high school classes to private school to graduating from Manitoba’s own Red River College Polytechnic. My goal as your photographer is to capture life’s greatest moments so you’ll always have a way to look back on them.
Whether you’re flying solo, in a relationship, getting married, starting or already have a family of your own, or just really love your pet, I make no judgements. This is a safe space, no matter your abilities, no matter the complexion of your skin, no matter your pronouns or who you love, you are always welcome here. It doesn’t matter what you celebrate - if you have something to celebrate, we’ll celebrate it.

My approach
Working with me is like having your own documentary crew capturing your day - the vibes, the atmosphere, the laughter, the colours.... The essence of your day, frozen in time for you to look back on for the rest of your life.
It's like having someone to take on the little crises, the drama, the chaos - all so you can stay stress-free all day. Whether grandma just really wants to see her granddaughter before the wedding, or a kiddo has bumped into a flower arrangement, I'll be there handling it all so you don't have to. Panic attacks get settled, disaster is avoided, and you don't have to lift a finger.

After meeting in 2022, I mentored Nicole in college while picking up a few new skills from industry vets. Now, she second shoots for me, and on occasion shoots solo under my brand. Nicole is dedicated to her craft, loves to laugh, and absolutely rocks at keeping rowdy families in line for faster, funnier pictures.
